The speed bonus is a separate +1 Credit reward for being one of the first two participants to finish a Mission.
A Mission becomes completed once its verified participation count reaches the required engagement count. At that moment, the two participants whose submissions arrived earliest, ordered by submission time, each receive a one-Credit speed bonus in addition to the standard per-participant Mission reward.
The bonus is idempotent per participation. The database records it once per participation and refuses duplicate entries, so a retry or a page refresh can never grant the bonus twice.
When you earn it, you see a "Top-2 speed bonus" entry of +1 Credit in your Wallet with a success status, a speed bonus notification, and a speed bonus marker on the Mission details page.
Only the first two verified participants earn the bonus. Participants verified third or later still receive the standard Mission reward, just without the speed bonus.
The Mission owner receives a Mission completed notification when the Mission completes.
